Area of Operation

MLPC works in 11 districts across Rajasthan in India. Namely, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Nagour, Ajmer, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Kota, Bundi, Bhilwada.

Rajasthan is on the west of India on the border of Pakistan. A large part of the state is covered by the Great Indian Desert or Thar Desert. Apart from mining, the state revenues are largely dependent on rain fed agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism.
